I am not for abortion personally, but I'm not for pictures without information, either. How many weeks is that? Was it an aborted fetus? If so, was it legal?

I am honestly,really not sure,my mom saw it online and the site didn't say. But i think it is pretty young.
Definitely legal. and it is a aborted baby.
But,believe me or not. I do know they they develop really fast.
I went to this place last fall,and they had babies like that in bottles that have been aborted...and within 2 weeks it's just...sad..they develop so much. Just within the first weeks they have hands with fingers,and feet with toes. it's just so sad,I don't know how people can still say that it isn't a baby.. it is. they are just to scared and weak to really see the truth.

Suction-aspiration
The abortionist inserts a hollow plastic tube into the dilated cervix. This tube is attached to a suction machine. The suction machine is turned on. The uterus is emptied by suction. The suction tears the baby's body as he/she is being pulled through the hose.

Dilatation and Evacuation (D&E)
Used after 12 weeks. Once the cervix is dilated considerably further than in first trimester abortions, the abortionist inserts a narrow forceps that resembles a pliers. The pliers-like instrument is needed because the baby's bones are calcified, as is the skull. The abortionist inserts the instrument into the uterus, seizes a leg or other part of the body and, with a twisting motion, tears it from the baby's body. The spine must be snapped and the skull crushed in order to remove them from the womb. Body parts are then reassembled and counted to make certain that the entire baby has been removed and that no parts remain in the womb (or else the mother could die if one piece remains).

Partial-Birth Abortion (D&X)
After three days of preparations, the abortionist places an ultrasound transducer on the mother's abdomen and locates the child's legs and feet. The abortionist then uses a large forceps to grasp one of the baby's legs. He pulls firmly, forcing the child into a feet-down (breech) position. He continues pulling until the baby's leg is drawn into the birth canal.
Next, using his hands instead of forceps, the abortionist delivers the baby's body in a manner similar to a breech birth. First, the child's other leg is delivered, followed by the torso, shoulders, and arms. The baby's head remains inside the vaginal birth canal.
The abortionist then performs the last step. Using surgical scissors in a closed position, he pierces the child's head at the base of the skull. He forces the scissors open to enlarge the skull opening. The abortionist then inserts a suction catheter into the brain and vacuums out the child's brain tissue with a machine 28 times more powerful than a household vacuum.
In the United States… as of today, abortions may be performed up to and during the 3rd trimester. Babies have been born and are today born in hospitals as early as 28 weeks old and live normal lives, Yet we still allow abortions to happen AFTER 28 weeks. The reason the abortionist leaves the babies head inside the vaginal birth canal, is to get around a flaw in law… if the babies head comes out of the vaginal birth canal and still has normal functions, it is considered a live birth and THEN it is considered a LIFE and cannot be aborted or else it is murder. So, just 1 inch separates the definition between life and a non-living creature (I don’t buy that).

A babies heart beat starts 7-8 days after conception. It is against the law in this country to kill yourself or have someone assist you in killing yourself (I used to think those were silly laws), YET it is OK to kill a life that has a CHANCE to live. Pro choice is no choice for the silent child. Each year in the U.S. 2 million adults/couples are refused adoptions. Here are some pictures… If you’ve gotten this far. You're likely not going to convince anyone who's already pro-choice that it's inhumane murder, if someone is for abortion, they know most, if not all of these facts, if not, they have no business openly backing freedom of choice.

yup it's live and let live..none of my business! I think is the phrase.. no need in having a big nose about someone you don't know!

it could very well be a staged picture. could have been taken out for other reasons do to health or the baby was already dead and mannny more reasons but someone found the picture and named it "Aborted baby"

the baby is WAY to developed for a legal abortion.

plus, its not killing anything in the first trimester. if cant live and support its self with its own breathing and blood, then its not really much or anything. it is basically a parasite that shares blood, food and oxygen with the mother. its like a tumor at that age. a baby isnt a baby until at least the third trimester.

This is kind of making me sad actually! That somebody could do this...

I personally think that you should only have an abortion if you are young(13 and under.), or if it isn't healthy for the mother holding the baby, and it could be fatal to her.

I'm pretty sure no one says that abortion is all sunshine and flowers. The only argument involving it is whether to even allow people to have the choice to abort a fetus or not.

I am very against abortion. I always have been. But I have learned that no matter what you say and do and how much you try and get your point across to people, they are entitled to say and do what they want. It's their choice. Yes, I think it's terrible...if you are old enough to have sex, then you are old enough to deal with the consequences of said event. But people abort for various reasons...and you preaching to them is not going to do a fat lot of good.

Now, I know people can abort their child up to 28 weeks before it is illegal. 28 weeks is the third trimester. And whoever said 'a baby isn't a baby until about the third trimester' is ignorant (in my opinon). My niece was born 16 weeks premature...she was 24 weeks old when she was born, well before the third trimester. She was the size of my palm, and it was the most humbling experience in my life to date. We thought she would die, but with a lot of help from Neonatal ICU, she made it and now is nearly 2, with nothing at all wrong with her.

This experience just reiterated to me, that allowing abortion to happen as late as 28 weeks is terrible. By then, your child is a child...has been a human, capable of surviving well before this time. There will always be debate over when a foetus becomes 'human'... but after seeing my niece at 24 weeks capable of life, with all her body parts functioning, albeit faintly, I stand my decision that abortion is terribly wrong. And that's just my opionion.

Oh, and on a final note...I find it highly distasteful, you choose to post such terribly visual pictures on a teen site where young teens or not even teens can view. They don't need to be seeing images like this on here.
